that's silly. So-let's say that steroids are more impactful in power lifting. That means they don't make much of a difference in fighting? No.Steroids don't make much of a difference anyways. I don't think you'd win on steroids if you were gonna lose without them. Stupid. This is fighting not power lifting.
Do you really believe that?Steroids don't make much of a difference anyways. I don't think you'd win on steroids if you were gonna lose without them. Stupid. This is fighting not power lifting.
Well, I think he's trying to say that steroids aren't going to give you skill and technique. That is true.that's silly. So-let's say that steroids are more impactful in power lifting. That means they don't make much of a difference in fighting? No.
but they will make you lighter/heavier (as you wish), considerably stronger, faster, enhanced recovery etc....Well, I think he's trying to say that steroids aren't going to give you skill and technique. That is true.
Troll? What about EPO? How many fighters have lost because they gassed?Steroids don't make much of a difference anyways. I don't think you'd win on steroids if you were gonna lose without them. Stupid. This is fighting not power lifting.
Well you're right but still don't know what you're talking about. They do add definite improvements to your performance, there is no debate at all to this or else nobody would ever take them. Second their main benefit comes in the fact that you can train 6+ hours a day full throttle, whereas the natural gifted athlete will burn out after a few weeks going 1-2 hours full throttle every other day.Steroids don't make much of a difference anyways. I don't think you'd win on steroids if you were gonna lose without them. Stupid. This is fighting not power lifting.
Uh, yeah, so fighters just risk missing major chunks of their careers, tarnishing their legacy, and losing tons of income so that they can take a substance that ...Steroids don't make much of a difference anyways. I don't think you'd win on steroids if you were gonna lose without them. Stupid. This is fighting not power lifting.
Those are all power and speed related though, not skill/technique related.Maybe, just maybe steroids ALSO enhance your ability to utilize "technique" in that it can make you cover distance faster, it can increase your core strength, it will increase your punching/kicking power, it will allow you to brute force out of clinch/grappling situations easier.
Not to mention androgens increase neck musculature which can help you absorb punches to a degree. There is literally not one aspect of MMA that steroids don't help.
Such bullshit statements to be honest.
At times, we have fighters sitting at over 5x the upper range for adult male testosterone levels. I would have to inject a humongous 1g dose of testosterone per week to reach those blood levels, yet I wouldn't get busted for steroids on these tests as long as my T:E ratio is in check. That's just ridiculous.

And no, it is not physiologically possible to reach these sort of levels even if you are a so-called "genetic freak brah".
