UFC 185 - RDA/Pettis, who wins?

    Haven't seen many topics on this, I know everyone's getting over the Jones fight at the weekend but it was also announced RDA would face Pettis in March.


    So, who wins that?

    Hard pressed to think RDA isn't a pretty big underdog. He's solid every where but I just think Pettis is better everywhere.

    I will say Pettis, striking and movement and subs on another level. Hope its a standup war.

    RDA is on some sort of competitive crusade, something changed in him mentally when he lost to Khabib. Those types of fighters are always great to watch on their way to the title (Aldo, Benson, Jon Jones).

    IMO Pettis is technically much more refined, but RDA is going to take the fight to him. I think Pettis will find a way to win in a five rounder but I doubt it will look easy.

    Pettis has a couple of tough fights in store with RDA and Khabib...

    Pettis, RDA is good be he isn't that good.

    Anyone else think its funny that 2 guys who lost to Clay Guida are fighting for the title, Clay should move back up to LW and take the belt.

    Picking Pettis don't think anyone is a better striker then him in the division so the only thing left is someone to be better in the grappling apartment which Khabib is. I can't see Dos Anjos apposing any threat to Pettis to be honest.

    Pettis will win the striking but I believe RDA is the better grappler, he has quite a nice takedown game too.

    I'll take Pettis though.

    Looks like you're joking but most people that mention the guida fight probably didn't even watch it. Pettis easily KOs him in the 1st if they have a rematch instead of trying for a sub.

    RDA will be a live underdog, but a significant one. Pettis is a full blown monster and RDA while he's sporting a really nice streak, isn't that popular or famous. The lines will favor Pettis and the hardcore fans in the know will pick him as well.
