It`s very possible after 180 we`ll be seeing the last of the TUF 1 fighters.

I think Lauzon is going to put another bloody beating on Diego and retire him.

Koscheck and Swick are still around (I think)...but will they ever fight again?

Bonnar is fighting again soon. Against tito in bellator

why would you think Diego will retire coming off of a win?

For his sake, I really, really hope that Diego does not continue to fight for longer than about two years, if that.

Koscheck and swick are likely soft-retired as well. Remember that little "Koscheck as an analyst" experiment on FS1? haha

Wait hold on, Lauzon and Diego are fighting?! That's a possible fight of the decade right there.

My money is definitely going on Diego. Lauzon is good, but if this becomes a battle of toughness there is no way Lauzon beats Diego. This is a great matchup for Diego, a guy he has a legit chance to finish by strikes. Lauzon won't be able to out wrestle Diego or submit him, so I see this becoming a stand up war. Diego by split or by strikes. I hope he's an underdog in this one. Lauzon doesn't shine enough in one area to control the fight and the stand up skills in this one are relatively equal, so it will be last man standing (guy with the better chin). Thoughts?

Just shows that the life of a professional athlete can be short...especially in terms of combat sports. Less than a decade after the show debuted, TS is right, all may be out of action soon, kind of an end to an era.

Same can be said for Pride, as much as I hate to say it. It's possible by the end of 2016 or so, that all of the Pride royalty from the past may be retired, or at least no longer fighting in the UFC. Safe to say, I don't see Hendo or Big Nog fighting anymore by that point. Shogun will more than likely be out of action by that point as well considering his failing cardio and knees. Rampage....may still be around in Bellator. Don't look for Cro Cop to be competing in MMA anymore by that point, Fedor's already gone, Saku will hopefully still be alive, Gomi will more than likely be done, Wand has run off, maybe Werdum will still be active and competing at a high level....but....all stories have to end at some point.

TUF 1 fighters still have a few years left in the tank. Lauzon will probably fight into 2016. Maybe not contend but he'll probably be there.

I just saw this on wikipedia: TUF 1 contestants are 1-7 in UFC title fights (Kenny Florian 0-3, Diego Sanchez 0-1, Josh Koscheck 0-1, Nate Quarry 0-1, Forrest Griffin 1-1).

Lauzon was not on the first season.
Diego is the only one left in the UFc

Wait this can't be real right? The guy in the mask... Bonnar acting so unnaturally, the weird pc insults (lack of swearing) Is that Bellator or WWE?

Apparently it all falls on Bonnar trying to sell the fight.. The whole mask thing was utterly ridiculous though, and iirc Coker/Bellator were pretty embarrassed by it all

Coker/Bellator were pretty embarrassed by it all

Shit man, I was embarrassed by it and I have no involvement with bellator.

That being said, im really looking forward to what else the production team has in store to hype that fight.

I didn't include Bonnar b/c he had retired and won't ever fight in the UFC again.

The Bellator bullshit is ridiculous.

Swick and Kos might fight again. Kos probably more likely than Swick. But I would not be surprised if we never see either in the UFC again.

Diego might be the only one left standing. How many more split dec blood baths can Diego take?

Should be at least 2-17

Remember Matt Serra ?
