Top FS1 audience last week: Saturday night UFC averaged 697,000 viewers

Still a record low for FS 1 prelims but looks like I lost my sig bet.

There wasn't a single truly recognizable name on the prelims, even if they were pretty good

Probably at least a week away from getting a reliable estimate but trending factors are indicating around 200K

Way too early to really know ALTHOUGH the rule of thumb is that if the # doesn't "leak" within a week, it didn't blow the doors off.

Not always true, Meltzer didnt report UFC 168 doing over a million buys till Jan 16th.

What was the sig bet? And why would you make a sig bet about viewership for prelims?

Not always but most of the time. Iole had it doing a million pretty early, like before the Singapore event. The problem is most people don't give him or anybody else credit for PPV numbers. I don't think they're expecting this event do some massive number though.

Not great prelim numbers but this wasn't a PPV that was buzzing to begin with.

Its low, 172 did 750k but before that the prelims were doing 1 mill and 1.5 for UFC 168.

NBA/NHL playoffs dont help and it was one of the less anticipated Memorial day cards.

next big one should be 175.

I imagine UFC 175 and UFC on Fox 12 are the only upcoming cards that will pull in good numbers.

#1, I wasn't even 100% sure what a sig bet even was and #2, because it seemed like the thing to do at the time. We all learn from our mistakes.

And I'm not sure what the sig bet is, other fellow hasn't told me.
