Your title says 175 but your thread says 173

    173 probably did ~250k but I don't know the official #

175 will probably do like... 650-800k

I'm asking about 173. If the number was low I doubt TJ will be on PPV agian

Lol. I doubt it in both cases. 173 probably did 175-200k, but no way 175 pulls upwards of 800k. 650 is probably the absolute ceiling, but I'd say more like 400-500k.

In either case, we should wait until some more substantial numbers are released.

It's not going to be high. Barao vs. Faber only pulled 250k and the co-main on that card was Aldo vs. Lamas.

I'd consider anything below 200,000 low.

The Super Bowl card had both 135 and 145 titles on the line and only did ~230k. Think this getting near 200k would be a surprise.

yeah it could easily have done less than that which is why I'm wondering.

I often wonder what the break even point for a PPV is.

are you honestly trying to blame TJ for possible low numbers? they haven't had time to build him up. barao couldn't draw a fly.

    Weidman, Machida, Rousey

I'd wager handsomely it does at least 600k

I thought rousey was the biggest ppv star in mma and mma was more popular than soccer. 175 should do 2m+ if Dana is right

    Wait, TS.
If Meltzer reports the number someone will make a thread.
What you can get at this point are meaningless predictions by Sherdoggers.

The only time any of those 3 has done more than 600k was the Weidman-Silva rematch (which Rousey was also on, and they had TUF hype for their fight). Their first fight did 550k. Aside from that card, none of them have done more than 550k.

Without Silva, I don't expect this card to draw over 500k, but it could happen. More than 600k? Nope. Not happening. Especially since Rousey is fighting Davis who, while I like, has no personality whatsoever.
