UFC 173: Barao vs Dillashaw Post-fight Press Conference Discussion and LIVE DW SCRUM

This should be very interesting :icon_twis

Thanks for the quick links, shonuf

Can't wait to hear what Dana says.

Don't kid yourself, he's happier than a pig in shit. It's not like Barao was some cash cow for the UFC. The guy Dana just spent the last couple of weeks hyping as the best P4P fighter on the planet got his ass absolutely demolished by an all-American looking English speaking potential cash cow in the lower weight divisions.

np.

I think the live scrums are going to be past my bedtime. lol

The last three fights were really good performances imo. Not the best fights but Lawler, Cormier, and TJ looked incredible.

I'm really shocked at how well Lawler is doing.

Oh I wasn't implying anything like that, I am just genuinely curious on his thoughts of tonight.

^^^Jake choked again. Far from his best performance. He isn't showing up in big fights under the bright lights.

Just a while ago when he was on his win streak people were talking about 4 fighters fighting next for the title: they were: Nick Diaz, Carlos Condit, Jake Ellenberger and Johny Hendricks. 3 of those men got to fight the champ.

After tonight, it is clear that Jake was the only one that will never receive that opportunity.

Thanks for the links

Agree. I don't understand the rationale behind people saying the UFC would be butthurt about Barao losing. People love underdogs, and underdogs winning. UFC is American and lots of Americans like American champions.

There's literally zero downside, other than a small ego hit after Dana talking up Barao so much.

P.S. I hope Dillashaw and Lawler both win one of the bonuses.

Oh this gonna be good.

Watch as Dana spins the story and says he was on TJ train the whole time

After the main event and DC's performance, I completely forgot about Lawler. To say that his improvements over the last year or so has shocked me is an understatement.

Post fight analysis took er Jerbs.

Dillashaw saying that bang picked him apart and made him the fighter he is now. Wouldn't be surprised if Dilla went to Bang's gym. Might even bring Castillo with him.

it's looking that way.

I see the scrum link on facebook but not sure what will happen when it's time to go. It may disappear.

The scrum is not an official presentation. Usually MMA Heat records it, but sometimes not and sometimes there is no scrum.

Err, wow is the scrum an official thing now?

I agree- Dana was trying his best to sell more PPV's hyping Barao up the way he did. Barao was not a cash cow. Dillashaw will do much more the UFC's business than Barao. Dana is actually a happy man tonight.
