Josh Koscheck will meet Robbie Lawler in one of three fights added to UFC 157 today. Chad Mandes vs Manvel Gamburyan and Brendan Schaub vs Lavar Johnson were also added to the card, set for February in Anaheim. It's shaping up well, but some fans (and Hendo's coach) are still bothered by the placement of Rousey (6-0) vs Carmouche (7-2) above Lyoto Machida (18-3) vs Dan Henderson (29-8). Machida and Hendo would be a great five-rounder, but technically Rousey's the champion and you can't fault the UFC's endeavour. Here's the main card so far:

- Ronda Rousey (c) vs Liz Carmouche
- Dan Henderson vs Lyoto Machida
- Josh Koscheck vs Robbie Lawler
- Brendan Schaub vs Lavar Johnson
- Urijah Faber vs Ivan Menjivar

Disgraceful that Ronda/Liz is headlining over Hendo/Machida.

I sincerity doubt people are going to drop 55 bucks to see her armbar some nobody in the first round.

Dana is vastly overestimating her current "star power" imo.

so Lavar vs Schaub from the prelims of a free card to a PPV maincard? :icon_lol:

also, Carmouche vs Rousey headlining.

Looking allright, absolutely.

allright as in WILL STREAM IT.

Good thing, more money in my pocket.

Not trying to be all negative but that card does not entice me. Rousey/Carmouche will probably be a wash with Ronda just slamming her down and taking her arm. Hendo and Machida does not sound like a great fight to me, Machida will probably just use his distance and pepper Hendo for 3 rounds. Koscheck will probably lnp his way to a win. I'd love to see Johnson knock out Schaub but I'm not paying 50 bones to see it. That last fight is pretty irrelevant in a semi-irrelevant weight class.

Rousey is awesome, Hendo is one of my favorite fighters, Urijah is also, this card is looking great!

I don't understand the double standard. Do people not buy AS or JDS or Jones PPVs because he's probably gonna beat the shit out of his opponent and get a fast finish?

It's because however the fight goes, you care. I don't care about the women's division right now. IF you could see into the future and Rousey/Carmouche was going to be fight of the year, maybe I'd feel different about it.

As long as you Twitter Uncle Dana afterward complaining about fighter pay.

All I see is Hendo vs. Lyoto.
This card is underwhelming.

Lawler vs. Kos? Do we not know how that turns out. Kos by wrestlefuck.

well for one, Carmouche isn't a nobody. I do agree with you that Hendo/Machida should be the headliner (would be a great 5-rounder) over the FIRST women's fight in the UFC. Nothing against women (I love women. giggity) but how is DW expecting people to shell out 50-60 dollars for a card that's headlined by the 1st ever woman's fight in the UFC, even if it is Rousey?

I think the UFC is over-estimating Rousey's star power.

I like WMMA, I like fighting & I like watching women. I find it a lot more enjoyable than watching men fight. Sexy violence > not sexy violence is what I guess it comes down to.

replace the main event with some midcarders at any weight, make Hendo vs machida the main and I'm in with my 60 bucks. Since that isn't happening I think I'll save my 60 bucks.

Dont really care about that, they are adults, they can sign the contracts they want and live with it.

On the other hand, MY money is MY business and there no fucking way Im paying to see :

-Ronda armbar Carmouche in 30 secs like Dana wants
-Lyoto and Dan as a 3 rounds co main when they totally deserved to headline another card wihtout a 'titlefight'.
-Faber win a 30-27 UD over Menji
-Kos win a 30-27 UD over Lawler
-Schaub get KOd or Lavar get tapped in round 1.

oh I will watch it, for free.
