UFC 101: Gracie jiu-jitsu on Fuel TV

The Gracie Breakdowns have been so successful at educating casual MMA fans that the
UFC decided to give Ryron and Rener the opportunity to host a special 30-minute show
for Fuel TV called "UFC 101: Gracie Jiu-Jitsu."

The show was produced in January and is set to air this Monday night on Fuel TV at
10e/7p. The show begins with an in-depth look at the four primary positions in jiu-jitsu.
In segment two, the Gracie Brothers discuss the secrets that make jiu-jitsu effective
against giants.

Then, they breakdown the top three submissions in UFC history, including Royce's epic
triangle over Dan Severn. To wrap it up, they teach a few self-defense techniques from
each of the Gracie Academy training programs, to demonstrate how Gracie Jiu-Jitsu
truly is effective for anyone!

Great! I really like their breakdowns.
I just hope they keep the grandpa-marketing down so it doesn't get awkward.

I enjoy their videos as well. I was hoping I'd see the breakdown of how Maia kept taking Fitch's back. I realize the videos take time and money to produce, but figured they were getting enough return on them to keep producing them. Now I know why. I will watch this tonight. (And hope the sales pitch is kept to a minimum.)

Thoughts? I thought it was pretty well done. I kinda want to just have people go watch it instead of me trying to always explain jiu jitsu to them. Got a little marketing heavy in the last 5 minutes though- but I can accept that.

I think it's cool you guy's are doing this, but man the amount of rednecks and joe blows saying they study GJJ will be coming out of the woodworks.
But they already say they study UFC:icon_lol: so probably no biggie.
