The UFC are posting a bunch of old fights on their Youtube channel. Pretty cool

They just posted UFC 1. The entire event.

Everything before UFC 200 is so boring. Don't know why anyone would wanna watch that.

This event sucked... But it's interesting just for the sake of seeing where it all began

Trivia: This event happened on my birthday! Which means the UFC began on my birthday! Woo!

I imagine it took a tremendous amount of willpower from Dana to put these events out there for free. He’s going to lose a lot of sleep over those missed couple of cents

It only sucks if you weren’t around during that time to watch it.

Back then, it was style vs style and we had no idea what was going to happen. We honestly didn’t know if someone was going to get their arm broken or brain damage. Unless you were privy to witnessing a lot of street fights, no one else did either.

It was exciting.

Good clean, roided MMA.

Before racism, inefficient energy, and Ido Portal.

Kevin Rosier vs. Zane Frazier is one of the greatest back-and-forth MMA fights ever.

Look at the quality. There is a reason why MMA only became popular to the general public in the recent era.
This sport has evolved. It started with pretty much specialists trying to prove that their martial art or their way of practicing their martial art was the best. Now we have fighters practicing multiple arts at very high levels. I just don't think you understand or really appreciate this sport. Popular doesn't necessarily mean good. Joe 6-Pack and Connie Cosmopolitan can stay in Disney World and go on Space Mountain 40 times a day with their kids as they wait in line for 3 hours a ride. Maybe that's the "popular" form of entertainment. I like to watch men punch each other in the face or grapple, whatever they choose. There is something beautiful and artistic in the sport. I'm not afraid of the brutality. I love this sport now and I loved it when Royce was the man back in the day. I would just say the sport has evolved and so have the fighters.

why is UFC blessing our bum souls with all these free cards on YT lately?
Trying to turn casuals into hardcores?

This. Though I've always been a bit more of a boxing fan than MMA fan, I still have such fond memories of walking into HMV as a kid and buying UFC 1, knowing nothing about it, and just thinking how unbelievably badass it looked :D

Just like you said, the style Vs style unknown factor was the big pull originally, and what made it so exciting.

It's cool that MMA has evolved and become it's own polished entity, and own discipline, but there was something special about UFC 1-10 when it was just so nuts and unregulated and style vs style.

That dude Tallei Tulli (I don't know how to spell it) is the dude from Forgetting Sarah Marshall. He was the one roasting the pig for the Luau, LOL! At least he looks and sounds like him.

Great AV man, good for you
Also tnx for the upload

I think Jim Brown knows more about this sport than these modern day commentators ( ROGAN ), even though this is the first event and no one can really know what's going on there, he still is better commentator than these nowaday fools. And Kathy too is better!
One thing I can't stand that there is couple of those dudes to just hype Grazie jiujitsu, they should have not been able to know what Grazie jiujitsu unless Rorion wasn't hired there to hype Grazie jiujitsu.
