So this dude is making his debut against D1 wrestler Desmond Green and it looks like he’s a 6-1 underdog.

Just curious to why they’re giving him this promotional push but matches him up against someone who is heavily favored to beat him?

Seems like they lit a paper bag of shit on fire and then stepped on it themselves.

They don't want to give him a scrub but just want to see where he stands? I think if he beats Green it will give us a better insight to his skills than is he fought some no-name. That being said, I hope he KO'S Green (pretty sure he's the guy that killed two people in a car accident because he was high)

If you’re short on stars in Canada, why would you bring him in to lose in his debut?

Sometimes you have to put prospects against the test to find out where they are. You won't find out anything if they just beat a can their supposed too.

Whats so good about Desmond he is 2-3 in the UFC. His best win is against a chinny Ross Pearson. lol

edit: 3-3 he also decisioned Josh Emmett

By the way if you can bet on him as a 6-1 underdog that's a good bet. Oddsmakers don't know shit in regards to MMA and especially when it comes to untested prospects and in MMA anything can happen.

He lost outside of the UFC to a guy who wins 3 then losses (basically a journeyman). But, it wasn't a KO or Sub loss, so he doesn't lose too much credibility yet.

However, the loss came after 5 professional fights outside the UFC. That's is not a good sign for me. The UFC is smart to start him off with another UFC Journeyman (Desmond Green).

The saddest part is that this Jourdain dude now has a bunch of haters just so people can celebrate the failings of UFC promoting a fighter.
