We should be clear. Trump is the symptom rather than the disease. But surely he has made the problem much worse. He ran as a populist, but governed as a typical Republican. 50 people in the US got over $800 billion in a little less than four years. This type of wealth inequality is what makes a 3rd World country not a vibrant Western democracy.

Not just billionaires. My finances have done quite well as well. Tax cuts + reinvestments into the stock market / real estate means that the americans that aren't dead-beat drags on society will have made strides in building generational wealth. I'd like to keep it that way. Don't want someone taking my hard earned money and redistributing it to low lifes.

In before all the sherdog socialists try to lynch me.

Just out of curiosity....how do you think these people made money? By stealing? Or by making in demand goods and services. Also, who do you think employs a fuckload of people????
Bill Gates and Sam Walton and Bezos are billionaires....how many people do they employ?

How many people have you ever employed? How many innovative products have you created???

How about this, how have you made the Earth better in any way?

PS please don't refer to yourself as a conservative again. No one believes you. I hope your TDS is not terminal.

Serious question to you: Do you feel as though the ~$800B that went to those 50 people had any chance of getting to you? Majority of those billionaire's fortunes rose as a result of popular demand for their company's shares (companies that, mind you, most of them are directly founders or CEOs of). Why is their gain automatically a losing point for you?

The ideal solution would be to reform the labor market, cap ceo pay and bring back stock options. I wouldn't mind a percentage of pay for regular employees based on executive pay. Unions a broke and busted term, in this day and age just let hr handle it. Give those guys something to do with there worthless degrees.

The other side of the coin would be to ask anyone looking for change if they've actually been to a 3rd world country? Americans have it fucking great.
    Experience: Africa, ME, Southeast Asia.

Why not just the former? The latter side seems pointless.

Think mega rich people like bozos and bloomberg should actually give to charity. And not the bs charities that are just tax shelters. I mean actually giving to poeple. Imagine if instead of trying to be president bloomberg used that 500 million to help people out?

I literally NEVER referred to myself as a conservative. I used to be a big R Republican and a small l libertarian. I registered as a Republican so I could vote for Ron Paul in the 2012 primary in Florida because FL is a closed primary state. Needless to say, my political views have changed since then, although I still have a great deal of respect and admiration for Ron Paul and his principled stances.

I've been quite open about my change in political beliefs over the years, I'm not trying to gaslight people into thinking I'm something I'm not. When I was on the right, I told people I was on the right. Now that I'm on the left, I tell people I'm on the left. I'm not running some type of Tim "Center-Left" Pool grift where I claim to be on the left, but literally ALL of my videos are shitting all over the left and Democrats while sucking Trump's cock and the cock of every Republican and right winger to the delight of my wing nut audience.

In all sincerity, good for you. :)

Personally, I got a 80% return on investment in real estate I purchased during the Obama Administration and sold under the Trump Administration. I went against the advice of my real estate agent who wanted me to price my home $15k less than the price I wanted to get and worked hard to keep my home in showroom model home condition during all showings. It paid off and I got full asking price after only being on the market for less than two weeks. The people who ended up purchasing the property tried to low ball me at first, but eventually they won a bidding war for the property.

I'm all about hard work being rewarded and I also invest my money. I have a six-figure Fidelity Mutual Funds portfolio and I pay capital gains. I'm not a true socialist. I support the free market. I just support a strong social safety net and an equitable society where our government isn't corrupted by special interests and corporations. This form of government works well in Western Europe, Scandinavia and other developed countries around the world. We're literally the only developed nation that doesn't have universal health care and we pay more total and more per capita for an inferior system that leaves tens of millions of Americans uninsured and under-insured. The American people deserve better.

Me too. But I care about society as a whole, not just about myself. And I credit myself for my gains rather than Trump or the system as a whole. I think we can do better.

Prior to and even during COVID we had record EMPLOYMENT, didn't we? Or was it just record low black unemployment?

Regardless. I have increased my wealth quite a bit. The fact remains.

You can try to blame *EVERYTHING* on Trump but I see him trying to keep the economy open during the pandemic *AND* trying to de-couple us from China. Both of which are vital to this country.

I know you are desperate to blame every woe on DJT but the circumstances are more than 1 person. The entire global economy is going into the shitter and the Democrats are doing *EVERYTHING* they can do tank the economy because they know it is the only way they are going win the election. And they are willing to sacrifice everyone to that aim.

    Never forget.
