Trying to understand UFC match making is like trying to understand a madman.
I read parts of the article but it sounds vague.
What is T-Wood Talking about?
i'd love to see woodley win here but I think Johnny beats him up
Johny's work rate is too high for Woodley. He should win a comfortable UD.
Hard to see how Woodley wins this, really. Hendricks has been in there with better wrestlers and better strikers. He himself has shown a much better striking game than Woodley.
What the shit is that quote even supposed to mean?
All he needs to do is eat a big right hand and that is it, Hendricks will slow down at the end of the fight but so will Woodley
I would hardly say Hendricks has a high work rate
Hoping for a double KO here.
It's a 3 round fight. Hendricks' cardio shouldn't be an issue.
And even if he does eat a big right hand, Hendricks has shown an ability to fight on through hard shots. He rarely gets hit clean and even when he does, he's skilled at tying his opponents up.
I still have no idea how Hendricks does it with those T-Rex arms.
Woodley wins via Hendricks getting a fluke injury.
This is what I was going to say Hendricks rarely gets hit clean he's good at covering up and moving with punches. I wont woodley to win this but I just don't see anywhere that he has an advantage.
Yeah it usually is but this matchup makes perfect sense to me.
"Better" doesn't always matter.
Woodley lookin' like a black Zeus with that beard.
Funny, when I read the title I thought that Hendricks' PR mistake was his last title fight with Lawler.
Yes, but this is MMA, Woodley has the best mix of strong wrestling and powerful striking that Hendricks has ever faced, the opposite is true too though. Both guys will be open to the other's power shots too since Woodley is right handed and Hendricks is a southpaw.
It's a good match up, I favor Hendricks but I expect it to be competitive. Hendricks doesn't really have a high work rate either.
Haha true, true.
You rooting for one or the other?
Johnny will out work him rounds 2 and 3. Woodleys sole shot is a first round finish.
My feeling is if lawler couldn't take hendricks out, woodley can't either.
Can someone clarify what Woodkey is trying to say...?
I don't follow. What mistake? What changed his thinking from thinking this fight wouldn't happen to thinking it would? His language is not clear.
Hendricks has an edge everywhere - but not a big edge.
Woodley has a decent chance and is a very live underdog.
Just because Hendricks has survived big shot before doesn't mean he will survive again.
I hope Woodley can win it. I don't like Hendricks in or around the title picture. 70% or not.
