Tyron says Wonderboy "does all his light work." lol

"All the people who think they want a shot at the strap, they gotta go thru him (Wonderboy), and ain't nobody made it thru him. "

"I think Thompson (wins). I know I talked a lot of trash about Thompson, kinda more like joking, but Thompson is a very difficult puzzle to figure out. Took me a lot of time, a lot of money, a lot of training partners to try and really figure it out, and I just don't think Till has what it takes to take him out. So with that said, I gotta go with wonderboy, even though he never said I'm gonna win a fight." -Tyron Woodley

Thoughts? Is the WW division that lop-sided talent wise that there is Woodley alone at the top with Wonderboy gatekeeping his title for him? haha. Who else in the division poses a legit threat against them if Thompson beats Till handily? Maybe another high level wrestler such as Covington or Usman?

Not a traditional gatekeeper but he really is here. He can't possibly get another Woodley shot unless he beats several top contenders I would assume. Kinda in limbo until Woodley loses.

What an asshole.

it's not so unusual. for a long time WW was GSP, Hughes and BJ. MW was Silva & Franklin. at 135 right now there is a steep drop off after the top 3. AA & Sylvia at HW.

in fact, most divisions in most eras have a big talent gap somewhere. when it's not after 2 or 3 fighters, we call the division "top heavy". like the 205 division in the "between Chuck and Jon" era. or MW & LW today (though it's arguable there's a gap after Conor, Tony & Khabib)

WB may very well prove to be that difficult to beat in the next few years.

from a purely entertainment perspective, i suppose we all hope he's wrong.

God, i know it's impossible, but i just want to see Woodley-Rory II.

Looks like a task for GSP.

I'd love to see GSP shut his ass up.

"even though he never picked me to win a fight"

This is how your WW champion thinks.

So with that said, I gotta go with wonderboy, even though he never said I'm gonna win a fight

why he always have to make it about himself, like's he's the victim in every situation? always thinking that people are against him

Woodley calling Wonderboy a gatekeeper makes him look bad, because Wonderboy was close to beating him.

Expected. Woodley respect the hands and power of Till and he knows..

Of course he'd rather fight Wonderboy again.

lol @ Bisping shitting on Belfort I kinda hear him on that

And Wood with his back handed complements of WB, lol. He shouldn't be talking that ol' shit like he walked through Thompson when he didn't. I've always found it odd the way Tyrone has made things so personal against WB when he's probably the nicest guy in the division. It's just strange.

And I wouldn't sleep on Till.

Good points. Top-Heavy was the description I was looking for, but it wouldn't come to me. haha

Hopefully we get some new talent at WW to keep things exciting.

i think we all look forward to Colby v RDA, even if only for that.

It's weird that Woodley acts like him and Wonderboy are on different levels. He tied him then won a majority decision and you'd think it was like when GSP faced Koscheck. Woodley showed nothing that makes me think Wonderboy can't win that fight. If till smashes Wonderboy expect Woodley to attempt to deny him the fight and say that he needs to face Usman/Ponz winner of RDA/Covington winner.

I can't believe how vastly overrated Wonderboy is on Sherdog? He's nothing but a point fighter cheap white Machida with less mma fighting. If Till fights right in his chest and don't give him any space to spin & twirl and hit him hard just once prettyboy freezes up and becomes very basic and underwhelming.

I mean...literally speaking, he isnt wrong. They are the 2 biggest stylistic nightmares for everyone in the division and if they continue to match up contenders with wonderboy first it really is like hes doing woodleys work for him

Ghetto mentality: chip on their shoulder, them against the world; due to a lifetime of being ostracized.
