If they want to enforce 2FA, fine, but throwing a bone to users who’ve been around a while isn’t asking too much. War Room should be open to everyone who's willing to engage and be respectful with facts and arguments

You go and search for an MMA forum that is as refined as this place and see what you come back with. The reason this place remains grounded is because it keeps the unhinged out with said restrictions.

You don't need to give them your phone number. All you need to do is set up 2FA so they can email you a code when you need to log in ONCE A MONTH.

That's it. They already have your email anyway so you're not giving any new info.

And for those saying they didn't have access to that email anymore, you have other options. You can change the email on file or use the authenticator method. Authenticator seems like overkill but you don't have to use it, it's just for those that don't want to do the email method.

First forum I've ever seen do this. I dunno if I'm posting either after this just because I don't want to support this on other forums or spreading.

I'll stop posting about bball and just lurk and then maybe reddit can start taking this places traffic.
