Two events on Saturday. Neither aired in Canada?

As most Canadian mma fans know, the place for UFC these days is Sportsnet 360. They have so far shown all of the cards that are on Fox Sports 1/2. They have also shown some of the cards that are only available in the States through Fight Pass.

However with 2 events this Saturday, neither is on their schedule. According to the UFC website the TUF Brazil finale and it's prelims are on 360. But the Sportsnet website and my tv schedule both say it's not on.

Could we really miss two events in the same day? I am hoping this is a mistake. If not I might have to try the fight pass free trial if they still do that.

I don't think either is ppv. TS, where in Canada do you live? I am in Nova Scotia and it's not listed here on the east coast either. However, events in the past have not been listed until closer to fight day. Hope we get one of the two. So far Sportsnet 360 has been a godsend for UFC coverage.

I am in Vancouver. I hope the schedule does change. It would be weird to miss two events in the same day. They should at least show the TUF Brazil finale.

I would be really surprised if we don't get one of the two. Here's to hoping!

I was just about to ask what was going on but searched first. The fight pass one I can watch there but I hate streaming cards in low quality. Prefer the HD screen with surround sound. The TUF Brazil 3 Finale is apparently on FS1 so it should be on Sportsnet 360 but I don't see it either here in Brampton, ON. I was thinking it may change as well as we get closer but I'm scared lol. Hopefully I can at least watch the one on SN360. Even if I end up going out Saturday I would like to PVR it.

    ok here'sthe deal

Both cards on Saturday are going to be ENTERILY ON FIGHT PASS FOR CANADA. Sportnet 360 WONT broadcast the FS1 prelims or maincard of TUF BRAZIL FINALE. In Quebec, TVA SPORTS will broadcast the FS1 prelims and the maincard but starting LIVE at 9PM, which means the first 2 fights of the FS1 prelims wont be aired at all (starting 8PM).

    hope that helps

    Go on UFC.COM

Chose CANADA configuration (upper right of the screen)

    Click on schedule

Chose that Miocic vs Maldonado card

Lower right, have a look at that HOW TO WATCH GRID.

Nothing displayed in cable/satellite and tv thingy, but WEB clearly has that maincard displayed.

So that plus the fact that its not listed at all on the broadcasting schedule of sportnets.ca....I think its pretty clear that it wont air live on tv in Canada.

It's sorta frustrating they can't just get this shit together and have it be one or the other. I'm not really interested in paying for cable and various & sundry services just to watch the one or two headline fights and the odd mid-card guy I'm a fan of.

Shit like this is why I really have no problem streaming and downloading.

for the retards: fightpass is airing both events in full, in canada.

if you don't think two events is worth $10, you might not be an mma fan. well, if you don't think the brazil event alone is worth $10, you should probably stop posting.

It just sucks paying $10 a month for something I used to get for free on my HDTV. Now I'm stuck watching it on a laptop and the stream usually goes slow after 5 mins. I can hook it up to the TV with a DVI cable but it looks even worse and the sound is terrible. Any suggestions on improving the fightpass experience in terms of hooking my laptop up to my TV? Hopefully this is a one off occurrence cause it's really disappointing.

I don't feel like paying 10 bucks a month for what I can get for free. I will continue posting. That is all.
