Evil is ultimately self-destructive. I think that's the point Khabib is making.
Connor's 'argument' doesn't really make sense because a virus doesn't have a moral compass. There is no "vs" in dealing with a virus, there are no conflicting value sets.
Good and evil people can die equally from circumstance.
In a battle of good and evil, good will (eventually) win because evil is self-destructive (preoccupation of the ego, the opinion of others, need for power, need to inflict pain, lack of true self-reflection, inability to see self-fault, inability to improve, unwillingness to sacrifice, inability to learn from others, inability to cooperate productively)
