So my gear was stolen out of my car last night and I'm looking to replace me gloves. I had 16oz Fairtex gloves and loved them. However, I am considering buying some Twins.
So questions:
1. I need opinions comparing the two (16oz leather)
2. Do the designs wear off of the Twins? Specifically the dragon or tattoo designs.
3. Ahould I consider Windy's or others?

I know you specifically asked about 16oz, but I have 10oz and I love them. I picked them up in Thailand in January. I use them 3-4 days a week, and the Twins logo is still in great condition - very little of it has worn off. They're definitely great gloves.

I hope that helped at least a little.

I love my Twins. I can only compair them to regular boxing gloves. I have the tatoo style and the color won't wear off.

I have some 14oz CSI gloves I am looking to get rid of. I personally use 14oz Twins. I like the leather on the Twins better but the CSI gloves have better padding in my opinion. PM me if your interested in the CSI ones.

I have both and I like the Fairtex better than the Twins, but Twins are still great gloves

While I appreciate all the feedback, you guys are not making it easier for me. I guess it could be worse though. I could be choosing from a bunch of crappy gloves, lol.
Please keep the thoughts coming!

I sell Twins, Windy and Fairtex. They are all very high quality. There are differences but they are minor. With these three brands its really down to personal taste. They are a slightly different shape to each other so if you are able to try a few pairs on to see which you find the most comfortable. Quality wise there isn

I have the Straight Black gloves (16oz). I use them 4-5 times a week, no wear or tear at all. The red thread around the patch came off a little, but that's hardly anything to worry about.

My buddy just got the Black with Silver Dragons. He's only had them about a month or so, but so far, so good.

I paid $55 Canadian through my school, he got them $65 Canadian through E-bay (I think).

I have a pair of 14oz Twins gloves, and they are great. The only complaint that I have about them is that the nylon lining up by the fingers is a bit baggy/loose (they came like that), causing my fingers to get wrapped up in them when first putting them on. My Fairtex bag gloves don't have this problem. I don't know if Windy gloves have this problem or not. Or, maybe all thai-style training gloves are like that, since the Twins ones that I own are the first pair that I've ever owned. But, it is annoying when putting them on.

Crap!! That was my 69th post. I always said that I would post something good for my 69th post. Boy, did I blow that one. I'm an idiot.

i love my 16oz windy gloves and the price is right on them at mmamuscle.com
