Geo has only been training for 5 years? Holy shit. I really think he's legit. He's gonna face stiff competition at EBI and ADCC. Shit is gonna be crazy.

Geo and Nate have me excited about 10th Planet guys competing on bigger and bigger stages. Also, a little OT, Royce keeps taking jabs at Eddie. Eddie just stated on InsideBJJ that he would love a match against Royce. That could be fun.

GEO is one of Eddie's top 3 blackbelts (Nate and Denny being the other 2).

If Eddie was able to dominate Royler... then he will EMBARRASS Royce Gracie.

So with a lucky draw he will end up fighting Joao Miyao 3 times?

Yup. That's why Royce should probably stop talking shit about Eddie. I don't think Eddie has said anything negative back to him.

Yeah, that's why I say, he's so damn young and so good. Even if he doesn't take gold, he'll still become a force to reckon with in the future. He's facing guys who've been doing this for 10-20 years! Give Geo that time and I can only imagine how sick he'll be.

    hah yeah.

    In a way, yeah.

I meant for Royce's sake. It makes him look petty. Also, in combat sports when you keep throwing shade at someone people are eventually gonna wanna see it play out on the mat. I don't think Royce wants that or even the conversation of a match.

Nate isn't a top level black belt at all. Geo is. Stop putting them together

Eddie doesn't really have a "top level" black belt. Denny is good don't get me wrong, but hardly top level in the grand scheme of things and everyone said he was the top black belt from Eddie.

Is Geo now the best 10th planet black belt?

In my opinion he is, by far. Denny, Orchard etc are all great but have been beaten by anyone that is in the 'top tier' of competitors. Denny against Cummings, Orchard against Tonon etc. In Denny's case i'm not sure if he will ever 'get there' but I do believe Nathan Orchard has the drive and ability to do really, really well.

Geo is already an amazing submission only grappler and a true product of 10th Planet, it's exciting to see him compete and know that he's still quite young and will be training and growing for many more years.

Geo's brother, Richie, is also one to watch out for.

Adam Sachnoff is also a bit of a dark horse in the ADCC HW bracket.

Isn't Adam the blue belt who won the trials a while back and then got injured? Or is that Orchard?

Geo is really good for training for 10 years let alone only training for 5 years.
His brother is also good but is missing something from the matches I've seen of his.

Orchard was pity grappled by his own teammate Denny and beat by a bluebelt in Chicago. He hasn't won trials.

Eddie would kill Royce. But I don't know if he wants to spend the rest of his life responding to whatever semi-libelous reasons Royce would have for why Eddie beat him.

Cool techniques. I'm fascinated with the truck and would like to start playing around with it, although I'm just interested in using it to get normal back control. I've been revisiting double under passing since I saw saulo teach his "warrior walk" variation on rolled up, maybe I can work this stuff in. I also like the rolling back take from top quarter guard.
