Robson Moura's BJJ Fusion volume 1 sounds like it would help you a lot.
3 DVDs from that set are pretty special.
1. The Cross Guard: He shows his special cross guard game. An open guard that works great for people with shorter legs.
2. The Butterfly Guard: He shows his butterfly guard that focuses on controling the pant leg. The way he shows his sweeps, also works very well for people with shorter legs.
3. The Turtle: Robson shows a bunch of ways to attack the turtle.
Saulo Ribeiros Revolution 2: Amazing Set, but the only one you would be interested in is his turtle series where he shows countless ways to maintain the turtle and sweep from their.
Eduardo Telles's Turtle Guard:
A very good series that shows a bunch of ways to attack from the turtle. Tons of ways. Saulo teaches the turtle as a kind of reactionary position. Telles teaches it as a position to look for and base an entire game around it. That said, his DVD wont teach you some fundamentals that I think Saulo teaches you, but Telles will teach all sorts of ways to transition smoothly from butterfly guard to turtle, or from the takedown to the turtle, and how to slip in submissions like kimuras, wrist locks and knee bars. It really is a must have.
Braulio Estimas DVD: This is my favorite DVD set. A lot of closed guard stuff, some passing guard stuff, but Braulio also teaches how to start an open guard game, and how to retain it. It's not organized as well as other DVDs but it's just littered with ALL this info. You could watch it on mute and learn a ton.
Cobrinha's DVD set: A good spider guard section, and a good De La Riva guard section which I think is needed for anyone who wants to play spider guard. It has a butterfly guard section, but it revolves mostly around belt grips and playing flat on your back, which I personally dont like. Amazing DVD. I used to think it was too complicated for beginners, but I have changed my mind and now think anyone should pick it up if they have interest.
