Turkey has had very little control over its southern border for some time now. They're the closest thing to a muslim best pal who kinda share our ideals, but they are barely keeping things together on the Syrian, Iraqi borders. Kurds are still Kurdin, there's no way they choose ISIS over Kurd militants though.

Yes he would hes been helping the other rebels , heping ISIS until recently would have been helping assad not removing him
