TUF fighters not listening to their corner

The way I have heard this is that in the heat of the moment your body just naturally goes into survival mode. Hearing your corners and focusing on them during the round takes focus away from your ability to focus on the person trying to beat the shit out of you. Between rounds its good to make an adjustment, but when your getting punched repeatedly your corner just becomes blur.

At least thats what I have heard from a buddy of mine who fights at an Amatuer level.

It is sweet when a fighter does listen and performs well.

I'm not sure if the pros are making the newcomers look this bad or if it was just a bad season of fights. There seemed to be very little technique and a lot of "safe" fighting.

I said it before, Dana should remind these guys that they would be better off putting on a show than winning. People want to watch fighters who come out and perform even if they've lost a few fights.

No one wants to watch a fighter "lay and pray" or play it safe.

I find it hilarious when fighters don't listen, but usually it hurts them in the end. I remember a lot of Hughes guys doing that in season 6.
