I say bring back some retired champion so the main focus is the fighters not promotion. They could have Chuck Lidell vs Matt Hughes or any two retired fighters maybe bring back Huges vs Sierra

DonCarlos and Aegon Spengler like this.

That could be pretty good. I remember TUF 4 when they bought back old fighters (that were in UFC). Loved that. I'd say bring back the old old ones like Shamrock, Royce, Coleman, Jon Hess, Goodridge etc.

I hear what your saying and respect it. But does not UFC have like 600 fighters on contract?

These are current and upcoming fighters.

But yes, I agree there should be a place for fighters to fight post prime.

I think a 40 plus fighter could beat a current champ he just going to need a year to recover, but so what.

    Allowances can be made.

I think the idea is to co-promote the show, the coaches, and the contestants all at once using each other. Using bigger names as coaches might be okay for one season but it's probably smarter to do away with the show altogether. It's a hemorrhaging wound that the UFC should cauterize.

I can't remember the last TUF star. Gastelum is the last decent fighter and Hall had his wheel kick KO go viral on YouTube but that did very little for him. The show is creating less and less legitimate talent as time passes. I don't see a spot for it in MMA anymore.

The kick did a lot for Hall, in fact he's fighting Anderson Silva next.
