Obviously, everything Rutger Bregman said was true and accurate, but one can't help but think that he could have reigned in his disdain for Carlson a little bit to keep consistent with using Carlson's platform. After all, it's not all that common for Fox News hosts to give their platform to decently intelligent people and not just fill it with right-wing hacks and liberal straw men.

Carlson seemed to be willing to roll with a little bit of criticism of FNC and right wing punditry (although it's hard to say how much he'd just cut out later), but Bregman pushed it a tad too far when he zeroed in on Carlson specifically and basically called him a shill that serves to distract his viewers from political reality and their own economic interests.

Nobody cut the interview short, claiming "technical difficulties" like certain other networks, it was some activist trying to get some fame by blurting out a bunch of insults and accusations unrelated to the topic he was there to discuss and was not airable on a cable network. Anybody could jump on any network and do exactly this, claiming the host is taking "dirty money" from billionaire Ted Turner and they wouldn't even finish the interview, let alone air it.
