MMA fighting in unified rules / cage allways sucks.
Some of us are able to like more than one organisation.
What personal gain do you have if WSOF is better than RIZIN?
are you one of those paid posters i've heard so much about?
Kind of like a Japan vs USA thing?
Or is it the UFC>PRIDE and RIZIN is the new PRIDE kind of thing?
You sure showed them
Yay yet another poor mans UFC, semi contact elbow wrasslin show...SuperBrawl/ICON>Literally any shitty NSAC org
I thought you were super into Bellator?
They get too mainstream?
Of course WSOF is better than Rizin in one way at least. Rizin is a fun two or three times per year weird event with a lot of freak show and novelty fights while WSOF is a promotion with almost monthly cards on tv.
I personally think ACB is the 2nd best org in the world in terms of mma quality these days
Never understood this mentality. The ring is not made for mma. Constant resets, people falling through the ropes, shit like aoki/Hansen where the ref is allowed to blatantly help aoki get take downs, the ring is not good for mma.
WSOF does have a few really good fighters. Unfortunately they're the fighters no one else wants.
Lol.... no no no. I wouldn't spend over $1k to go to a WSOF event. I gladly paid that and then some to go to a two-day event in Tokyo ending on NYE.
That's an odd comparison. If a fan is local in the NYC metro area or is there already for the holiday going to the WSOF NYE afternoon card is not going to cost anywhere near that while Japan is an expensive and far away country on the other side of the planet which would obviously cost a lot just to travel to never mind attending the show or other expenses.
It's not. The point is I'm willing to spend money to go to Rizin. I'm not willing to spend nearly that much for a wsof event... and I work for the brand. I've been to the two WSOF events at the Hard Rock. Meh. Would pay maybe $30. Rizin... I'll fly across the g'damn earth.
The last WSOF event I looked forward to was Rumble vs. Arlovski. Watched a few other fights since and then finally gave up.
