Goes into effect in 10days. Bans the previous nations except for Iraq...
Basically banning all nations fighting AlQaida and ISIS and exempting nations that support/fund and populate ISIS and AlQaida. Pathetic and stupid. The last terrorist attack in the US was a paki from saudi arabia.

Legal residents and visa holders will not be banned.

So basically a ban of all the muslim countries he doesn't have business dealings in.

Agree with TS. The travel ban was Trump pulling-the-wool-over the conservative grassroots. It was not genuinely about fighting Jihadis since Pakistan and Saudi were not on the list.

Version 2.0 should have Pak and Saudi on the list but it won't because Trump and his inner circle are lying and don't care about reducing the risk of Jihadis coming here.
 
I wish he'd abandon the stupid travel ban. Its costs way too much political currency, for no benefit to him, or national security. Definitely one of Trump's dumbest policies.
 
I'm sad Iraq isn't on the list anymore.

They were the biggest butthurt-babies about it.

It was a joke bro. This whole thing is a deflection from the Russian investigation. Trump is trying to get everyone to look the other way. It's pretty obvious.
 
No Pakistan or SA is pretty telling.

While the original travel ban was not genuine and exposed Trump's lie about instituting the ban to protect Americans, it did partly lessen the risk since Iraq, Syria,Libya are places with lots of Jihadi groups. So leaving Iraq out in Ban 2.0 still does not address the problems with the ban .

ISIS emerged from Iraq and there are still lots of ISIS supporters there, so why would you leave Iraq out. If he was honest, he would keep Iraq on , take Iran out and add Saudi,UAE,Qatar, Kuwait, Pakistan,Afghanistan.
