I try to stay away from circle-jerk political threads like this one because there’s nothing to be gained, just bad energy and hate everywhere. Usually a pass for me, but no disrespect intended for those who love to engage on this type of stuff.
This one I’m popping in quick because I was passing by downtown Saturday with no family in the truck so I felt at ease.. and figuring there'd be at least a few “no kings” goofs working the corners for photo ops.
It’s obvious to be the same group of sad individuals that are conjured up for every “protest”. The only thing that changes is the nonsensical rhetoric on the signs.
This is a screenshot of a quick video I blindly took while driving down Main St.- “lesbians against the nazis and klan” was the most prominent message from the crowd of many hundreds.
Theres no words for the level of unbelievable stupidity here. These folks shouldn't be hated on, or certainly not acted out against.
They are sad, broken people who have lost their
way in the world, and now found solace in gibberish.
I used this as an exemplary moment for my 2 young sons, to show them that even if you choose to be useless as an adult, bad people will still use you, as a professional “protester”.
