Do you honestly not understand why the President who we now know didn't really want investigations (because if I recall the investigations led to nothing) but wanted the announcement of investigations (through a personal lawyer instead of proper legal channels) because it would hurt the Democratic frontrunner (who most of us hate) is not only immoral, but illegal?

It would have only hurt Biden if it was found that there was a major conflict of interest and/or the office of the Presidency was used for direct financial gain of family. It was bullsh*t time to have that kind of relationship in that place. Real stupid. Deserves investigation. Trump had them on the phone so.. Aid has been withheld before to push for corruption investigation. When the corruption involves members of the WH t's more relevant to the interests of taxpayers and voters.
