It's not real money. It isn't tied to anything.

It is based on your confidence that it will be accepted for goods and services, and as long as the dollar is the world's reserve currency, that can't change, no matter how much we spend.

We literally have free money right now. Well free to us atleast. Those rubes using our reserve currency can eat the inflation.

Trump is just spitballing ideas. At one point he advocated red flag laws and banning violent video games. He throws shit out there, it doesn't mean he'll do it.
