Trump is 37 “faithless electors” away from re-election

It definitely is. And clearly.

Federal election law supersedes state election law, like any federal law "Trumps" (pun intended) state law. Weed is legal where it's legal, now. Hell, everything is legal in OR, now. But it's not legal federally and they can come in at any time and bring down the hammer. They may in OR, actually.
But overall, there is no desire to do that with weed because everyone on both sides of the aisle thinks it's fine if people use weed, edibles, whatever. THC.
No offense, but that is nowhere close to an argument. I don't think there is anything in the constitution that precludes the states from doing this. Congress would have to pass a law to stop it and then prove that they have the right to make that law and that it can even be enforced. Individual state courts could find it unconstitutional within that state, if applicable.

So there is one Elector for every State, and thirty seven of them would have to ignore the Popular Vote and vote for Trump?

Apart from anything else, no one wants to get put on AOC's List. That scary bitch makes Amber Heard look rational:eek::)
