I remember reading an article a while back. Was with former trump and twitter staff. They said they had an extensive compilation of trump and trump admin requests to twitter. I shouldn’t have said Facebook. Not sure if they were part of it.

Trump does not 'write' things.

What Trump stated clearly for all to hear, was that he was relying on the 'great group of people at the Federalist society for the plans they would be implementing when he took office'.

When the Federalist Society said 'here is our plan and its named 2025', Trumps claim was that he never specifically endorced 2025. What he has never retracted is that it is his stated intent to use the Federalist society's blueprint for his gov't, because he does.

Trump : I will use the Federalist plan
Reporter : that is called Project 2025 as per the Federalist society
Trump : you have never heard me endorse "Project 2025"
Reporter : Do you retract then that you will be using the Federalist Society's plan
Trump : No. I will be using the Federalist society plan.
Reporter : Well that is called Project 2025 as per the Federalist Society
Trump : you have never heard me endorse "Project 2025"

Elon selectively removed all the Trump Admin direct requests to take down and censor comments negative about Trump, which came from the Trump GOVERNMENT at the time, as he put together the Twitter Files to prove gov' censorship by Biden, a private citizen, whose requests to Twitter if you read them were all to say 'Twitters rules do not allow for the posting of non consensual porn or nudity, please take down the nudes of Hunter Biden', and other requests like that.

There was nothing in the Twitter files that showed any Biden (private citizen) request was other than to ask Twitter to take down things (such as nudity) that was openly flaunting their rules.

Whereas Trumps requests to Twitter at the same time, while he was the GOVERNMENT, where to take down things that broke no Twitter and were just reporters stories that Trump felt made him look bad. The very definition of censorship, and by a government official.

But good ole Elon, was out to demonstrate the censorship at Twitter before he took over, took out all the Trump government censorship, while labelling what Biden requested be done as censorship when it was not.

The voluminous requests often came from high-ranking political appointees working in different departments, offices, and agencies in the Trump administration. But during both the Trump and Biden presidencies, these types of moderation requests or demands were routinely sent to Twitter by the staff of influential GOP lawmakers — ones with names like Kevin McCarthy and Elise Stefanik.

Oftentimes, requests would demand Twitter stop “shadowbanning” certain conservative accounts, or that the company reinstate banned or suspended right-wing personas. Other times, offices of senior Trump administration officials would send emails seeking to remove tweets that they believed to be “hate speech” or death threats aimed at their principals. And over the years, the knowledgeable sources say, staffers for Republican officials would regularly flag to Twitter content that they believed violated the app’s terms of service or other policies, including on spreading “misinformation” or “disinformation.”

That sentiment was shared by those who’ve worked for Twitter. “Everybody worked the refs,” one source familiar with congressional requests to the social media company said. “Usually with the Republicans, most of the time rather than saying, ‘Why are you taking things down?’ it was, ‘You need to put things back up.’ It was, ‘Put me back, put me back.’ ”



In Teigen’s case, the White House’s attempt to get Twitter to remove criticism of the president was sparked by a late night exchange initiated by Trump. The then-president blasted musician “@johnlegend, and his filthy mouthed wife” for being insufficiently grateful to him for signing the criminal justice reform First Step Act. The White House’s removal request landed on the desk of Anika Collier Navaroli, who testified that her supervisors had informed her the White House wanted Twitter to evaluate the post. ”They wanted it to come down because it was a derogatory statement,” told the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday.

Rolling stone huh the same people that reported gun shot victims are dying at hospitals in Oklahoma because covid patients who are unvaccinated. Then it shows people wearing jackets in the middle of summer

Trump wanted some censored for calling him a bitch it’s not on the same level . We know since social media there are things the government ask to be censored on social media . Maybe someone leaks classified info and so on. The level of demanding and what they did is why it was a big story
 
My 10 year old niece came home from school yesterday and told me she was 5th in line to get her transgender change operation but had to get out of line to grab lunch. Now she lost her place so she'll be getting it at the end of the week. You will have to be very brave and venture outside your right wing echo bubble and google and see you can see variations of that same story in ALL the major media, except right wing Magat ones.

I know the thought of that scares you, but try it as no one will be able to select any single source you will not just 'find reasons' to disparage and dismiss.


And you are correct it is not the same level as what Trump did by acting thru the White House, is in defiance of the Constitution and is an actual government censorship attempt that should NEVER be done. What Biden did, in the lead up to the 2020 election is what every private citizen is invited to do. Point out to Twitter if something is posted that breaks their rules so they can act. They DO NOT COMPARE!

Fox paid 800 million for lying about the election being stolen, but they seem to be still quoted a lot.
The people who put out 2000 mules admitted it was a fucking lie, but people still seem to think the election was stollen.
Funny how people use media that they know lied as a trusted source but wont believe another media because they got busted lying.
Pro-tip, all media lies because they have to get ratings to survive, and nobody wants the truth anymore they just want to be manipulated as long as it supports their view point. They dont want their bubble popped.

Please show me where Biden asked a tweet to be taken down for insulting him.

Or where the Biden admin asked to have accounts reinstated after they were banned for breaking the rules of the site.

Or for hurting the presidents feelings. (See: John legends wife)

Again stop reading Magat media and put on your big boy pants and read something outside that echo chamber.

Biden WAS NOT in government when the requests he made to Twitter, that Elon exposed and called 'government censorship', were made. If you read what Biden asked for, the requests were directed at asking Twitter to follow their own rules. It would be the same as someone breaking a rule here and you hitting 'report' and explaining what rule the person broke, so the mods can then consider it and act.

It is not only NORMAL for citizens to do but Twitter and Sherdog ask you to do it and have the 'report' button there for that very reason.

What Trump did, was speak officially thru the White House, in a way that violated the Constitution by using government to seek censor criticisms of him something all public officials have NO RIGHT to ask to be taken down.

So despite Magat media repeating what Biden did was bad, it was NOT. But what Trump did through the White House was truly bad and a huge abuse of governmental power, in defiance of the Constitution.
