Gane was too afraid of Ngannou's power to open up in the striking. Those lazy push kicks he kept using just invited takedowns. Ngannou outwrestled him on strength alone. Shitty fight.

I think this is it for me for a while. I’ve seen a lot of turd fights in 25 years, but this was the biggest let down for me. I’m taking a couple years off.

Ngannou doesnt do well against fighters who pressure the pace, he isnt used to being hit almost like Lesnar. Gane has a very promising career however and i definitely think he becomes the championship very soon. There is absolutely nobody in the division that is better than Gane save the champion.

It wasnt a great fight, but stylistically it was never going to be some back and forth stand up war. I'm just surprised and impressed with Ngannous wrestling.
