It's not scotch dumbass
Is this a clever gotcha where you feel smart telling me that scotch is only made in Scotland? And that I should have just called it whiskey?
Because I don't give a shit, but carry on.
He owns a bunch of the profits.
He has to have a whisky taste assistant though because his arms are too short to put the glass to his lips.
He seems to own the brand which is distributed by a larger spirits company.
While it is doing decent sales in the early going he's probably made some good dosh off of it but it probably won't have immense longevity against established brands in the same market.
Conor runs MMA, Conor runs Whisky, Conor runs TS head.
i'd rather drink your beer
It's his bottled piss so i think he owns it.
They wouldn't. Proper 12 is nowhere near "top shelf". It's bottom shelf at best.
someone who hasn't got a clue about Whiskey by the sounds of it.
This. I'm glad someone on here has some sense.
I've heard it's decent for a $30 bottle of whiskey but nothing incredible. But I've also heard it's trash, and the best whiskey people have ever tried. It all depends on who you talk to, what they like and who they like. I haven't had the chance to try it but I've had several friends talk about it and reviews are all over the place.
Yes he owns it fully, it's projected to become the world's first trillion dollar company according to the leading industry insiders.
Even some African nations are cutting deals to replace their water supply with Proper 12.
Probably a small percent
most likely Bushmills and the Kinahan cartel
Had a friend try to tell me Conor is a billionaire because he sold a billion dollars in Whiskey in 2018. He didn't believe me that the "1 billion dollars in irsh whiskey sales" in 2018 was ALL Irish Whiskey, not just Conors. Some people just dont want to hear it.
Scotch whisky is distilled twice, while Irish whiskey undergoes triple distillation.
Scotch whisky uses peat-smoked, wholly malted barley, while Irish whisky used kiln-dried, raw and malted barley.
Scotch whisky is produced by ‘blending’, while Irish whiskey is produced by ‘vatting’.
Scotch whisky is casked for a at least two years, while Irish whisky is kept in the cask for at least three years.
Hope this helps.
I already knew all this. I guess in my circles people just refer to all whiskey as scotch. I didn't really think these boards were so sensitive into needing to be so specific.
It still tastes like shit.
Enjoy your sensitivity! Gave me a chuckle.
Isnt Bushmill a good distillery? Why did they make Proper 12 so bad?
Who refers to "all whiskey" as scotch? That's like referring to all Beef as Steak.
Sounds like you didn't know what you were talking about "What because it wasn't made in
Kind of sounds like you simply dont know what you're talking about.. "Is this a clever gotcha where you feel smart telling me that scotch is only made in Scotland?" so now you're just trying to backtrack.
This is right.
You ask true or false, and then follow up with a question requiring a yes or no answer.
It hurts my head lol
