Really? Benghazi and emails were done to the death.

These 2 things wouldnt even make the news if they were done by Trump.

Just look at how much fuzz was made about Saudi Arabia's donation of 10 million to the Clinton foundation (a real charity), meanwhile Saudi's pledge 100 million to a faux charity by Ivanka and not a peep from anyone.
while CNN lambasted Trump for an off the cuff, off the record remark from years prior to billy bush ffs, they were literally giving HRC the debate questions in advance.....

cmon man

And the Dems got a lot of flak over it.

That doesnt changes the fact that Trump gets a shitload of leniency because nobody takes him seriously.

Percieved scandals? seriously?

Put Obama or any other president in the same exact position as Trump and then imagine the reaction of the media.

Seriously, Trump gets a shitload of leeway because nobody takes him seriously as a politician.

Trump does himself no favours by acting like an idiot, but I think the issue also has to do with many people not taking the media seriously because they have been dialing the hysteria up to 11 ever since Trump started running for president. Calling him literally Hitler and running 10 people anti-Trump panels has given Trump some breathing room when it comes to acting like an idiot.

More on Jagmeet Singh:

Rising star Jagmeet Singh could be Justin Trudeau’s worst nightmare

Singh’s jump to the national stage will make race a variable in Canadian politics to an unprecedented degree. Beyond the standard journalistic tropes about whether the country’s white majority is “ready” to elect such a visible embodiment of Canada’s rapid demographic change, Singh’s status as a symbol of social progress has strong potential to undercut the narrative of the man who has, until now, been content to embody all that’s admirable about liberal Canada — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

... it’s impossible to grasp Singh’s disruptive power without appreciating his identity-politics cred in an identity-politics-obsessed age. His campaign launch speech put his status as a champion of the marginalized front and center, describing it as a natural outgrowth of his difficult upbringing as a first-generation Canadian bullied for his “funny-sounding name, brown skin and long hair.”

One of the defining tensions of Trudeau’s appeal has been the awkward fact that a man who presents himself as a champion of Canada’s postmodern future is such an archaic stereotype of traditional privilege. As the wealthy son of Canada’s wealthiest prime minister who worked only lightly prior to politics, Trudeau often makes clear that empathy is a learned skill for him. Despite earnest efforts to always say the right thing, he has had some notable Marie Antoinette moments, as when he vowed to help Native youth find a place to “store their canoes” or shared a tone-deaf anecdote about his powerful father helping his brother skirt a marijuana charge.
