Figured I'd pump out another review for everyone! Tru Assassin is a local fight gear company in Cleveland (gear made in Pakistan though), I believe the owner is a trainer at one of the MMA gyms but I'm not 100% sure. Got these guys off eBay for $18 (normally go for $80 on his website, but like American Standup he puts the gear up for next to nothing and I won em for next to nothing.) There are other color's up for sale on his website and you may be able to request colors as well because I've seen orange and green as options too, I got yellow which is quickly becoming my favorite color for gear haha.

When I won these they didn't say what size they'd be coming in so I was just waiting to see and when they arrived I got 16oz, as soon as I saw them I noticed there was some small botches on the glove around the logo and some spots had tiny dots like it rubbed off or wasn't printed on there completely, barely noticeable though. Same with the stitching, few loose one's that I just burned off when I took them outta the box.

The liner is great in my opinion, kinda like the liner in the Protex 3 (evercool I think it's called) I really like it, I've been using these for sparring to test them out and on the bag every other day to give my Reyes a break and get an extra little workout by using 16oz. One complaint I have is that the logo on the wrist is plastic, which I wouldn't recommend for sparring gloves but that's my opinion, I usually have tape over the lace's anyways.. I do really have to say I like the darker yellow used for the gloves, the laces that came with the gloves were longer which is always a big plus for me!

For being basically a no name company other then in the Cleveland area these gloves preform really well! The padding inside isn't too soft, or too hard and everything seems to be done really well on these gloves (I do have to say I dislike the logo and name of the company but the inner gear whore in me just had to buy em for the price haha) they do really feel like huge pillows on your hands though, so I feel like it's harder to get inside while sparring and small shots in and vice versa.. it's like I have a huge shield guarding my face to go with my headgear.

On the bag these were also extremely protective, great wrist support but not much of a pop on the bag with these but I'm a huge supporter of having gear that's protective over gear that looks cool plus I just like to wear larger gloves so when I put on my 12oz gloves for bag/mitts I feel like I'm throwing my punches at lightning speed lol. I guess my final statements about these gloves are that I really enjoy giving smaller companies a chance and even getting gear that isn't reviewed yet. I'd give these gloves a solid 8.75 outta 10.. simply because the blotches and little bit of sloppy stitching plus the hard plastic logo on the wrist just makes me a little bit more careful while sparring, seriously other then that these are great gloves! Definitely worth the original price on his website!

Pros-
Protective, great knuckle padding and wrist support on these gloves!
Liner is great in these, keeps your hands cool and doesn't feel waterlogged after being used
The color on these isn't the same yellow you'll see, it's darker plus it just looks really nice
Snug inside the pocket, thumb doesn't feel awkward at all (I generally cut the thumb attachment off or if custom request detached thumb)
THE PRICE! If you can get these off eBay for cheap.. I'd definitely recommend!

Cons-
Sloppy stitching in spots and blotches over the logo like it wasn't printed on carefully or didn't stick well enough? Not 100% sure on what happened exactly..
Hard plastic logo on wrist, I'd personally prefer a stitched on cloth logo like Reyes but that's seriously just personal preference.

Excellent review!!! Love reading about gear from smaller companies. Never know when you are going to find a hidden gem!!!

Thanks :). It's always awesome to find small companies that put out quality gear, I support Aries Fight Gear fully as well.. The mitts and belly protector I bought from them about two years ago are phenomenal! My old gym had Aries Thai bags and I want to purchase a few of those eventually, I loved kicking and punching those things haha
