There are no escapes from side control which won't be troublesome. It is like asking for an escape to a triangle which won't be troublesome.
Like above posters said, if they have you flattened out in side-control then you fucked up a lot of stuff before that which you should address first. You don't ask your coach how to escape a triangle you ask how to prevent it.[/QUOTE
yes i agree, but im not an expert and will occasionally be stuck in these positions. which calls for me to know some defense. Prevention is the first step, but everyone needs a back up plan. some moves are just hard to predict. but i do plan on asking my instructor but a second opinion does not hurt
