Big difference is Floyd finishing rate/power went down as he moved up weight divisions from 130 to 154.

Floyd's finish rate is incredibly misleading because a vast majority of his KOs were against bums before he hit it big. Corrales was really the last Floyd fight where he wanted to finish. He went a decade with two KOs and one of them was against a guy who had his hands down looking the other way. MM has finished 4 of his last 6.
