I watched his first breakdown vid and the quality was horrible. Hopefully this is better because he’s certainly knowledgeable.

say what you will about him but I love the setup Dan hardy uses for his war rooms. It’s super professional and actually allows you to see what he’s breaking down very clearly.

Edit watched the first 5 seconds and it still appears triple c hasn’t figured out how to pause his telestrator.

Shavkat keeps his chin too high and seems susceptible to big shots. I get that he has a good chin, but that isn’t something you want to rely on..

Honestly I think Shavkat defence is far better than other fans seem to think.

Geoff Neal is arguably the most accurate puncher in the pocket in the division and Shavkat completely out fought and broke him in Neal’s range. If his defence was like everybody is saying he would’ve been dismantled like Luque.

Neal is the only guy to finish Mike Perry and Vincent Luque.

Although I do agree that he can use some tightening up of his defense, the guy does have a solid set of whiskers to absorb the shots he did from Neal and fire right back at him.

Geoff Neal is literally one of the hardest punchers in the division.

Although I do agree that he can use some tightening up of his defense, the guy does have a solid set of whiskers to absorb the shots he did from Neal and fire right back at him.

Yup he was rocked a lot in that fight. Those same shots probably would have finished other fighters. His inside game does need work, but that is the hardest style of fight and one of the hardest skills to master. In boxing that's what really seperates boxers is the ability to fight on the inside. It's advance levels of boxing to be able to fight technically on the inside. Shavkat used his clinch and elbows to win the inside fight because he was losing the inside boxing fight.

IDK I thought Cejudo did a good job... perhaps not polished to the N-th degree but competent none the less...
