Askren called Usman by the name Usman himself chose to go by, someone call the cops Usman was getting violently assaulted by Askren! Usman was the main reason that 'beef' even existed.

This isn't the WWE, so we don't have to take the trashtalk seriously, because it isn't. It's just for entertainment, little bit of mental games and to generate money. Usman is getting rich off the trashtalk too and he knows it. It's the reason he wanted Masvidal 2 times.

Trash talk can be talking truth too. I'd still say this thread is also trashtalk by you.

They did get humbled. That has nothing to do with honesty & trash talk though. It just had to do with them getting beat. Usman isn't the most honest either. He lied in the Colby fight about the nut shot and the eye poke. He also lied in TUF about grabbing the fence.
Usman isn't that much better than all those other guys. But his personality isn't the best for trash talking, but otherwise I bet you he would have done it more. He doesn't have the flair and wittiness. Dude has the right personality to be a hell of an athlete though. But you can have both, it's not necessarily one or the other. Just look at Ali. Or even Colby, dude's still an incredible fighter despite losing to Usman. Dude was very competitive with Usman for most of their fight and be was at a clear size disadvantages too.

People like to impose archetypes to fighters that aren't really realistic, kind of like it's the WWE. They need to make someone the good guy and someone the bad guy. Just like people do with Khabib, but Khabib isn't really that humble or respectful either. It's just an image he is trying to portray because that's what he was taught. But there is nothing humble about demanding to be p4p GOAT, nor is using group intimidation tactics on Artem, Tony and DC humble or respectful.
