I would love to see this more than anything. Hell, I would even pay PPV for that.

What a shame they'r not in the weight range for an actual fight.

    Thoughts?

McGregor would be funnier, Cruz would cut deeper.

Conor is more forced and comical. Cruz is more angry and hurtful. Cruz is the type of guy that would make you lose your composure...while it would probably be easy to just laugh off Conor.

Conor is more cartoonish, Cruz is more mean-spirited. Conor is playing a character in a lot of ways, Cruz is just being his ultra-competitive self with a huge chip on his shoulder.

Anybody see that clip of Shaub telling the story about Cruz talking to himself before riding go-carts? Apparently he was standing off by himself before the races started saying to himself, "They don't want you to win, they don't want you to win." to get in some type of zone. That's Cruz just having some fun with go-carts.

McGregor talks shit and tries to be comical/entertaining (works most of the time, but starting to get old)

Dom Cruz goes for the kill by proving to the world, with arguments and examples, that you're a dumbfuck

Cruz crushes his soul like Nate did in the first pre-fight build up with classics like "touch butt," "fuck you you're on steroids," "no one knows what a gazelle is," and "you didn't beat them before the fight they beat themselves."

Conor is better at getting attention from the masses. Cruz is the best at getting under his opponent's skin.

Conor is smart but Cruz is more intellegent when it comes to understanding his opponent. In and out of the octagon.

Of course it is also easier to look intelligent when your opposition largely consists of team alpha male fighters. Excellent fighters but I haven't seen one that convinced me of his intelligence. They strike me as a bunch of jock-type guys when they are in a group.

Cruz is more composed and articulate. But his insults aren't mostly ones you can laugh at. McGregor is definitely louder too. Mcgregor will do his usual shit, get the crowd to laugh at Dom and win the battle easily

Why do people prop Cruz up like he's some kind of guru at talking trash? He really isn't. And even if he was, he's too monotonous to even make it sound interesting.

A true dream match-up of trash talking would be McGregor vs Michael Bisping. The actual fight (if such a thing were feasible) would be epic too, imagine them squaring off in Bisping's hometurf of the UK, where he's undefeated.

Yawn. Cruz has more TV time than anyone in the UFC and I can't recall a single memorable soundbite.

Exactly. Cruz has a more serious approach to talking trash that it doesn't even sound like he's talking trash at all. At times he sounds like (As he mentioned) he's just pointing some holes in opponents games. Conor get's silly with it.

Cruz vs Faber was pretty even in the talk and we all saw how Conor completely ran over Faber on TUF.
