Trans ..... rectal ..... ultrasound. oh man!

I'm going for a transRECTAL ultrasound, which means the US probe goes up my a$$.

I guessing this may be uncomfortable.

Just wanted to share my pain. I will report back Tuesday.

Anyone ever get the rectal probing, thoughts, advice?

UPDATE- how do I update the title?

so the US came back with a slightly enlarged prostate and the doc also believes it is a bacteria infection.

I am on antibiotics now but get this!!!

If the antibiotics do not work in the next 2 weeks- I have to go to the hospital and have my prostate MILKED!!!!! does not sound comfortable.

Yes, I have had several colonoscopies. No pain at all and they give you verced (sp?) which knocks you out. The prep work to clear out your bowls in by far the worst of it. I don’t know anything about the procedure you mentioned and have never heard of it before and I work in healthcare.

its not a colonoscopy and I am not getting put under. Do not even think I'm getting an atavan or noones byying me a lobster dinner either.

I have tightness/pain at that spot b/t my balls and butthole. I may have torn, pulled something at the gym and now it has healed too tight or scared or something.

Ugh. I remember that shit (no pun intended.) First tall glass of that stuff and you're like, "Kinda nasty but I can take it. Probably feel great to be all cleaned out." 3/4 of the way in, you're miserable. Feel bloated, asshole raw just from dabbing (wiping stopped an hour ago,) all you can taste in the solution is the weird salts as you've become numb to the flavoring. I'll take two days off work for that if I have to do it again.
