I would like to know what is the best product between training for warriors book and DVD?

Ideally getting them both would be the best option but if you were to only get one I would personally go for the book. The book actually has the routines and stuff wrote out for you whereas the DVD is more of a demonstration of some of the workouts described in the book.

The dvd show the same exercice of the book? Somebody can tell me if the book of training for warriors is better of the gracie superfite?

I watched the DVD about a month ago, I did think some of the workouts were decent, Gave me a couple of ideas. However I wasn't impressed with some of the form in techniques used by the guys demonstrating. Especially Rodrigo Gracie. I would say the book is a better buy.

IMHO superfit sucks. It's royce in flashy yellow atama rashguard doing plyos. Get a plyo book instead. Any one of JC Santana's books or DVDs on plyos are better. In fact he has a partnership with Rhadi Furgueson (a judo olympian) called intocombat. They have DVDs with sports specific circuit training that's pretty good, OVERPRICED, but pretty good.

Check out what Forrest's trainer wrote about "Training for Warriors":

My name is Adam Singer and I run a very sucessful gym in Athens GA. Maybe you know some of my fighters, Forrest Griffin (TUF 1 champ) and Rory Singer (TUF 3 star). I collect and read everything I can on strenght and conditioning. However until this book no expert had written specifically for MMA athletes. The first importatant thing to note is that everything in this book has been tested on MMA/BJJ athletes of the highest levels. What this book contains is a huge overview of every aspect of MMA training, mental, wieghts, strategy, nutrition, warmups, cutting wieght, lifting, cardio, core training etc etc etc. Is it a weekly program that one can follow? No. How could it be. The cookie cutter apraoch does not work with athletes. COnsider this a tool box that will allow you to work with yourself or your althetes to become the best they can be. For the individual that was upset about not having exercise descriptions....Why should Rooney waste time with things that have been covered in 100s of different places.

This is the first time I have reviewed a book on amazon. I have had this book from the first day I found it. I am writing a review now because I wanted to refute a couple negative reviews. I look at this book on a weekly basis and always find somehting new.
