Training BJJ in Okinawa Japan

Anybody train or now of any places to train BJJ in Okinawa Japan, just going to visit for a couple of weeks and would love to check out some schools in the area.

My brother was in the Marines and was stationed there for a year,he said all he could find was Boxing.

Japan would probably be easier to find a Judo place that does a lot of Newaza, which is very similar.

from what i know
there're very few bjj gym in Okinawa, afteall it's Okinawa it's all about Karate
maybe you can find some MMA gym with no gi grappling

try looking at Kadena AFB...maybe someone teaches there...I was at Camp Schwab in 95

I think I found a gracie barra affiliation on kadena, I'm not in the military so getting on base will be tough. Just curious if they had anything off post.

Have you checked FP BJJ Okinawa

He has a gym in Naha as well.
