Top UFC Debuts of All Time? [GIFS]

Junior because he was an unknown and Werdum was legit top 5 with sour grapes about not getting the next title shot. The loss knocked Werdum out of the UFC and Junior rode the win to a hell of a run to include holding the belt

Yeah safe to say that's the best debut for sure. Highlight reel worthy KO over an elite HW.

came here to say leben v silva. so perfect. start of a beautiful career

Andy/Zombie guy.

Frank Mir got submission of the night in his first UFC match

Could also argue Cro Cop's was a top debut if we're talking about shock value.

JDS-Werdum was the most impressive I can think of.

I can't think of a debut fight anywhere near as good as Edgar-Griffin.

Others that might not have been mentioned:

Wonderboy-Stittgen
Thatch-Edwards
Khabilov-Pichel
Lauzon-Pulver
Jacare-Camozzi
Manuwa-Kingsbury
Machida-Hoger
Overeem-Lesnar
Gustafsson-Hamman

Weidman had an impressive debut considering the circumstances, against a decently ranked guy too.

Anderson, imo. Has there ever been any fight that wasn't a single total strike that was 100% strike accuracy with no strikes taken ?

I also enjoyed Johnny Hendrick's blasting of Amir and Korean Zombie's twister.

has to be jds, man what a debut

So many good arguments for different fighters, hard to decide...Every time I read a new one I get persuaded a different direction. lol

Was thinking Bas Rutten-Randleman at UFC 20, but looked it up and he fought Tsuyoshi Kosaka at UFC 18...notsomuch. lol
