In your opinion - what fighters had the best UFC debuts?

Junior dos Santos' brutal uppercut knockout over Fabricio Werdum comes to mind

Pablo Garza's perfectly timed and sickening flying knee knockout over Fredson Paixao.. remember the sound it made?

Conor McGregor puts Marcus Brimage down with a smooth combination.

Anderson Silva tools Chris Leben. Flawless victory, literally.

Paulo Thiago shocks everybody with the knockout over Josh Koscheck

Yoel Romero adds Clifford Starks to his list of victims

Houston Alexander is for real!!!

This is all from me. I don't want to take 'em all up. Would've added Lauzon/Pulver but couldn't find any gifs, unfortunately.

How about you guys? what do you think are the best UFC debuts?

Keith just defeated Forrest the fight before.

edit: too slow I guess

Anderson Leben. Leben had a nice streak going, and Silva made him look like a child. About as close to a flawless performance as it gets in the octagon

Nobody touches Silva/Leben

Some others:

Woodley/Hieron
Daley/Kampmann
Lauzon/Pulver
Boestch/Heath - Boestch looked scary as fuck in that fight.
Erick Silva/Luis Ramos
Jordan Mein/Dan Miller

Frankie Edgar/Tyson Griffin
Forrest Griffin/Stephan Bonnar

I loved Leben Silva. It was a brilliant matchup on the UFC's part.

As far as I'm aware this was his mma debut as well.

as much as i love anderson and conor, JDS wins via level of competition.

Shit. Forgot about that.

He said he looked at it as his debut, at least.

In all fairness, it might as well have been. Not many know about the Saggo fight and he looked like an absolute monster in this one compared to the Saggo fight where he got hurt pretty bad.

Paulo Thiago.
Debut. Career highlight. Unexpected to Christ.

Junior because he was an unknown and Werdum was legit top 5 with sour grapes about not getting the next title shot. The loss knocked Werdum out of the UFC and Junior rode the win to a hell of a run to include holding the belt
