I was reading a story on Juan Diaz and this caught my eye.

Diaz-Ao was due to headline the debut of promoter Top Rank's new series on cable network truTV, although the series has not been formally announced yet

Of Course Juan is hurt and the fight is off but the real story is that Top Rank MIGHT have a deal with TruTV for a New Show and trying to put More Boxing on TV.

Arum had a Top Rank boxing show before. It was similar to Golden Boy's show, just a bunch of showcase fights for their prospects.

Hopefully with the pressure Haymon is putting on TR and GBP they will step their game up. Daiz is Name and this would have been a title fight but your probly right and it will most likey be showcase bouts.

TR can beat Haymon at his own game if they're smart and open to cross promotion. They should be looking specifically at GBP, Matchroom, Teiken, and K2. Go public with big, cross promoted matches.

Roc nation has Cotto and Ward but I get the feeling they'll be hard to play ball with, and Gamboa is the only guy worthy of note that fiddy has and mayweather's own stable seems pretty weak.

Bob Arum and Top Rank (then later add Golden Boy) ruined boxing in the United States by featuring lighter weight boxers that the majority of sports fans did not and would not ever care about.
