Top Fighter by era

LOL at Ken Shamrock being on there.

His fight with Royce was a draw. His fight with Oleg Taktarov was a draw.
He split fights with Dan Severn.
He fought in 3 UFC tournaments, never won any of them, and never appeared in the finals of any of them.

He cried "Petey, my heart" and gave up against Fujita in Pride.
He lost to Don Frye in Pride.

He lost 291 straight fights against Tito Ortiz.

He got flash KO'd by Sakuraba. Saku probably smoked a couple cigs and drank a quart of sake before that fight.

If you fought in the UFC during that era, and never won a tournament, then you're not an all-time great.

GSP owns 2010 to present TS, Jones nearly lost his belt (and probably should have). GSP has been getting clear cut UD's for years, and he's got more defenses that are almost completely against guys who aren't a weightclass below him.

either Cain or JDS, we'll see, both head and shoulders above the rest of HWT, and perhaps HWT alltime

I wholeheartedly agree

Fedor fought Lindland and Choi in 2007...

Lyoto Machida May 2009 - Oct 2009

It's hard to understand in retrospect, but when he became champion, he'd never lost a round. He sure looked unstoppable at that point. Sucks that it turned around so quickly.

Not only did he not lose a round he was almost untouched and he completely out landed everyone in terms of significant strikes.

I'd squeeze in Tito Ortiz and Kazushi Sakuraba somewhere on the list.

Royce, Igor, Fedor, Anderson, Jones. Honorable mention to Wand, Shogun, Nog, Penn, GSP, and Cain/Cigano.

Baddest man on the planet flow is Tank, Ken S, Fedor, Cain/Cigano

I agree but nog was baddest man pre fedor
