Who do you think are the top 5 wrestlers in each division? Everybody always asks this question, but for strikers. I want to know the wrestlers ahah

I will go at lightweight

1) Nurmagomedov
2) RDA
3) Khabilov
4) Makhachev
5) Dunham

LW- Khabib, Sean Sherk, Michel Prazeres, RDA, Gleison Tibau

Khabilov and Makhachev would outwrestle Sherk and Prezeres, and probably RDA when they get physically stronger. Makhachev and Khabilov are both great wrestlers in mma, they have great technique - both better than the guys you have listed (except Khabib), they have been wrestling for most of their lives, I would pick all of them to beat even Sherk and Tibau in freestyle wrestling.

Sherk - doesn't fight anymore
Tibau - is suspended, and he has great takedown defense, but not great offence.

I would argue that rumble is a better mma wrestler than Phil Davis and bader. Stuffed all of their take down attempts and even took DC the Olympian down. Rumble was a juco national champ just like Jones

Best to worst here. GSP vs Hendricks was a great wrestling war but Hendricks won it in they fight, so he gets to be the dude who have the best wrestling in the division.

The rest I don't think how you can say is better than the other. I think some think Jones is better than Cormier, but Jones wrestling has been stop before.

Alvarez is better than Dunham

I was actually debating that, I have seen more of Dunham using wrestling to win, rather than Alvarez, but he could definitely be up there.

I was actually debating that, I have seen more of Dunham using wrestling to win, rather than Alvarez, but he could definitely be up there.

He used it against Pettis and Gil who's a solid wrestler himself. Eddie uses his wrestling to stay standing, wrestling isn't just takedowns. Eddie has also fought way higher caliber wrestlers and fighters than Dunham.
