I'm talking bar room brawls ( in some cases with a tad of BJJ and wrestling) that ended in the first round. Here's my list. What say you?

    5. Brian Stann vs Chris Leben
    4. Josh Neer vs Melvin Guillard
    3. Houston Alexander vs Keith Jardine
    2. Brock Lesnar vs Cain Velasquez
    1. Chuck Liddell vs Babulu 2

Maybe I'm blood hungry and enjoy brutal finishes in the first round oppose a long, drawn out chess match. These fights are 5 of my favs and I hope there's more of them for years to come. Cheers

That fight were Tank knocked that guy out and said guy went stiff.

Tank went on to mock said stiff guy by pretending to be stiff himself.

Those trigg.hughes fights are good calls. Bader/Ortiz was more a one-punch and submission show.

None, but the technique demonstrated in parts of these fights was similar to that of two guys swinging for the fences in a bar fight. The wording in the title is more of a figure of speech.

All great examples. I don't consider Silva/Griffin to be a slug fest though...

This. That fight looked like an attempted murder.

Kongo/Barry should be top 5. My bad. No extra love for Liddell vs Babulu 2 eh? That was a sick brawl.
