It seems like more and more non Ronda/Conor UFC fighters seem to be getting more exposure then ever. I noticed that Ferguson and Cerrone trended quite alot too when they fought.

So the quesion is, what has changed? Is it the ESPN platform? WME connections? UFC pushing events and fighters into more social media platforms?

Football season finished in May

It was a ko and it was fast, I watched it and I haven't given a fuck about mma in the last 10 years

Been saying after the Till fight that Jorge's got mega potential. His personality is fucking gold and he's went from a decision-machine to a brutal KO artist.

UFC conned youtube
That could be legit. It would go under my "WME connection" theory. UFC used to try and push brand over fighter, but that doesn't work anymore, so now they seem to finally want to push personalities I guess.

What changed is they put the fight on PPV in the UK. So nobody bought it and then they went onto youtube in the morning to search for the KO's

Fuck knows how trending works, theres videos below those 3 that have more views lol

People went to YouTube to see the fight because they didn't pay for the PPV.

Household name maybe... but dude has been on notice from the hardcore scene since his Kimbo Backyard Brawls with Ray...

That flying knee got the craziest reaction and applause I've ever seen in my life. The entire bar (which was packed) went absolutely nuts. He's definitely become a cult favorite, at least.

Masvidal is a self-made man. The UFC didn't create his recent fame surge.

1) Darren Till KO in UK
2) Leon Edwards 3-piece and soda
3) Ben Askren MGM Grand Buffet

x100.

UFC didn't choose to bless Jorge. He drew us in.

His star lasts as long as he can stay undefeated moving forward.

If he loses he will be more like a nick diaz. Which still isn't bad.

UFC created Ronda and Conor,

not Masvidal, Ferguson, Cerrone

UFC doesnt create stars, just gives them a platform

the stars create themselves
