Is this based on the club transfer market? If so, just shows how much Premier League clubs overpay for English talent - ie Man Utd and Maguire

Doubt it, because likes of Foden, Rice, Saka, Mount, Rashford, Trent and Kane would be zero.......bt who knows with TS and his random, crappy lists.

It's an estimate of player values.
If everybody on the team was sold, how much would they be expected to collectively generate.

The Americanisation of football continues. Most valuable? Lol ;)

Well one thing American sports do not do is make teams pay crazy transfer fees from one sports club to another. If a player were to switch to an entire league (from Premier League to Ligue 1 for example) I can mildly condone/understand it since we are talking about compensating a team in an different league (business corporation). But Manchester United paid 80 million pounds to Leicester City to acquire Harry Maguire back in 2019. PSG paid Monaco 120 million Euros for Mbappe, etc. Football transfer fees within the leagues are out of control IMO.

1. America

the rest are poor
